Introduction

Welcome to PROOF - POdster's RObots Of Fiction - (part of) my own little bit of cyberspace.

Why I Created This Site

Some while back, I was searching the web for information on a specific robot in a particular film... and I just couldn't find it !  It soon became clear to me that there was no one single resource on the web which listed robots in films or on TV... or at least if there was, I couldn't find it.

Being a long-term science fiction fan, and not averse to a little hard work, I therefore decided to put together this site - PROOF - which, with your help, will hopefully grow into a comprehensive listing of all the rampant robots, psychotic cyborgs and crazed computers that have appeared on film and television.
