War of the Worlds/War of the Worlds: The Second Invasion (1988-90) Click for IMDb info.

An American science fiction series, supposedly a 'sequel' to the 1953 film War of the Worlds. When the stored remains of the original alien invaders are accidentally irradiated during a terrorist attack, the aliens are resurrected and take over the terrorists' bodies. The aliens then continue with their plan to take over the Earth by stealth, but they must continually take over new bodies. Astrophysicist Dr. Harrison Blackwood, computer buff Norton Drake and microbiologist Suzanne McCullough lead the Earth resistance, constantly trying to come up with a bacterium which will defeat the aliens.

The Angel of Death (1989)

In this episode, an android 'Synth' from the alien planet Qar'To arrives on Earth and starts wiping out the aliens. The Earth resistance are given new hope when she offers an alliance... but she has a hidden agenda of her own.

Gary - realising there's no way he can convince a real girl to go out with Wyatt - gets Lisa to create Rachel, an android... after all, she only has to go out with Wyatt once. Puppet Love (1996)

Wyatt and Lisa fix up Gary with a date with his latest on-line chum Cori, a model. But Gary has lied to Cori, who thinks that he looks like a magazine model. So Lisa creates a remote controlled puppet that looks just like the model, to go on the date with Cori instead of Gary.

Chett-A-Nator (1996)

Chett is abducted by aliens and replaced with an unstoppable android double. The android Chett kidnaps Lisa to take her back to the alien race which created him; they want her for their queen, to procreate and further their race.

Cyborg Sam I Am (1996)

Wyatt discovers his favourite childhood toy - Cyborg Sam - which Chett stole years ago. Seeing how pleased he is, Lisa blows up the toy to full size, and brings it to life. Wyatt comes to realise that being followed around by a devoted, animated toy (especially one which packs a death ray) isn't a whole lot of fun.

The Deadly Toys (1977)

At a meeting of the three scientists responsible for development of a new secret weapon, it becomes clear that one of them is really an android. When a second scientist is abducted and replaced by an android double, Diana investigates... and is confronted and drugged into unconsciousness by an android Wonder Woman. When she awakens, she transforms into the real Wonder Woman, rescues the real scientists and captures Hoffman, the androids' creator. 

Spaced Out (1979)

Kimball, on the run from the police, disguises himself as a robot. But - by incorrectly answering questions which he's asked - he gives himself away, and is quickly taken into custody by Wonder Woman.
