Pee-Wee's Playhouse (1986-90) Click for IMDb info.

An American Saturday morning children's program, hosted by Pee-Wee Herman. The program featured Conky the robot. At the start of each week, Pee-Wee would unplug the robot's charging cord and switch it on, when it would then say "Re..Re..Ready to assist you, Pee-Wee." Pee-Wee would then ask it for the day's secret word, which would then be printed on a small piece of paper which issued out of the robot's chest. When Conky malfunctioned, Pee -ee would send for John Wilson, the authorized Conky repairman.

An American science fiction anthology series, whose stories were similar in vein to The Twilight Zone, but with added 'spice' (i.e. sex and violence). The show was hosted by Chrome, an attractive computer controlled metallic female android, with a penchant for sexual innuendo.

A 26-episode low-budget Australian science fiction series about the adventures of the galactic patrol ship Phoenix Five. The ship's crew included Carl, a computeroid (i.e. android).

A Mighty Morphin Power Rangers spin-off. When life gets too stressful in his own time, a future crimelord from the year 3000 travels back to the year 2001 to carry on his nefarious trade. But the Power Rangers of the year 3000 also travel back in time in search of him.

The shows features many robots, including: Q-Rex, Megazord, Dragontron and Doomtron (though whether any machine which has to be 'piloted' is a 'true' robot is debatable).

Another Mighty Morphin Power Rangers spin-off. Divatox, the evil space pirate queen, has started raiding Earth. But never fear, because the Power Rangers powers have been enhanced with turbo technology. (What ??... Never mind, the kiddies love it!) The show features Robot Rangers and an army of robot soldiers controlled by General Havoc (Divatox's brother).

Yet another spin-off of the  Mighty Morphin Power Rangers series. The Power Rangers take on the powers of the Zeo crystals in order to combat King Mondo, Queen Machina, Prince Sprocket and the rest of the Machine Empire, with its robotic army, the Cogs. The episode "The Puppet Blaster" also featured Puppetman, the robot sidekick in a children's puppet show.

A 21-episode children's series about a young alien prince living on Earth under the alias Matthew Star. Matthew, together with a guard (Walt), is sent to Earth by the ex-rulers of the planet Quadris, after a tyrant has taken over the planet. Walt's job is to develop Matthew's powers of telepathy and telekinesis, so that he can return to Quadris and lead a revolt against the tyrannical new government. While on Earth, Matthew is sought by enemy agents from Quadris, who are sent in a variety of human and robot forms.

A children's serial. A scientist creates a robot called Electronic, fashioned to look exactly like schoolboy Sergey Syroezhkibn. Electronic has feelings and dreams of being a real human, and escapes from the laboratory, where he then meets the real Sergey. A criminal gang has designs on Electronic, who they want to kidnap and use to steal valuable paintings.

When the Government finds out that Michael has been taken out of the laboratory by his creators and successfully passed off as a real human, they order their own tests to be carried out. When Michael realizes that the military really want to use him as a robotic soldier, he goes into hiding.

One of the Flash Gordon serials, in which Flash, Zarkov and Dale go to Mongo to enlist help to fight the evil Ming the Merciless, who is spreading a plague on Earth. Ming has an army of humanoid robots to do his bidding.
