This science fiction series was a spin-off of - and often used the same sets as - the Space Academy series. On the same space base, Jason and his miniature robot Wiki work as agents for Star Command, an organization dedicated to fighting evil. The show also featured Peepo from Space Academy. |

Science fiction series. Professor Komyouji and his daughter are kidnapped by the evil Dark Demolition Corps, led by Professor Gill, and forced to build robot monsters for them. But Komyouji has built a guitar-playing android called Jiro (or Jiroo), which transforms into the super robot Kikaider, specifically designed to fight the Dark minions. When Komyouji is killed, Kikaider becomes the daughter's guardian. In each episode, Kikaider wanders around fighting the evil robot monsters (and the androids which assist them) which Gill sends after him. |

Jiyaianto Robo/Giant Robo/Johnny Sokko and His Flying Robot

When the cruise ship he's on is attacked and sunk, Johhny Sokko washes up on a remote island, where he meets scientist Dr. Guardian. Guardian has been captured by the evil Gargoyles - enemies of Mankind - and has been forced to make a giant robot, with which they plan to conquer the Earth. Guardian shows Johnny a microphone, and tells him that the robot will only obey the voice of the first person it hears through the microphone. Without thinking, Johnny yelps into the microphone... and the rest, as they say, is history. The series recounts Johnny and the robot's battles agains the Gargoyle hordes. |

A children's live action/puppet series. When Ernest P. Duckweather invents an interplanetary television set, he contacts and makes friends with Johnny Jupiter, an alien from the planet Jupiter (well, where did you think ?). The show features Major Domo (Johnny's faithful robot sidekick) and a robot called Reject which - using 'super jelly bean power' - Johnny can send to Earth (but could only be seen by Ernest). |
