	Earth: Final Conflict/Gene Roddenberry's Battleground Earth/Gene Roddenberry's Earth: Final Conflict/Mission Erde: Sie Sind Unter Uns (1997-2002)
		The alien Taelons (or 'companions') have landed on Earth, established diplomatic relations, and have used their advanced technology to solve many of mankind's problems, including famine. However, a small band of human 'resistance fighters' refuse to believe the Taelons are completely altruistic, and are determined to uncover their secret.
		The series featured robot alien probes which could transform themselves, and replicate miniature versions of themselves.
	Ekkusu Bonbâ/Star Fleet/X Bomber (1980)
		(A puppet series.) As the fourth millennium approaches, the Imperial Alliance invades the solar system in search of F-01: the perfect being. The crew of the experimental X-bomber try to discover F-01's secret and use it against the Alliance before it's too late.
		The show featured PPA - Perfectly Programmed Android (though - being virtually a sphere - it's difficult to see how it can be called an 'android': see photo).
	The Electric Grandmother (1981)
		After their mother dies, two brothers and their sister receive an offer of an 'electric grandmother'. After visiting the robot factory, they select their 'custom options', then take the grandmother home. While the two brothers accept the grandmother, the sister is resentful.
		Based very loosely on Ray Bradbury's teleplay 'I Sing the Body Electric'.
	The Expendables (1999)
		A scientist builds two nearly indestructible life-like androids, which when activated have a fascination for television (especially Starsky and Hutch). When the androids unexpectedly develop emotions, they feel obligated to start helping people...
